The classes are designed for children ages 8 to 11. However, in previous classes, guardians have shared that they benefited and are encouraged to attend as well. This program will be of value to anyone who eats food, sleeps, and lives on the planet earth. So….everyone!
This program offers a high level overview of 4 different areas that promote overall wellness; the importance of food, sleep, movement and thought choices.

Cell parts and Cell energy
Finding macros and deciphering the ingredients list
What promotes good sleep as well as bad sleep
The importance of movement on our cells
How they affect our overall energy and wellness

There are six, 45 minute classes spread out over six weeks. We have a general topic that is introduced and explained, with open discussion throughout. This is a very interactive class and is very much participant driven.
There’s a set of related handouts that will be provided at the first class. We will refer to the different worksheets throughout the six week program.
How is the class conducted? In person (Townsend, MA) or Online with Google Meet
What's included? In person classes include a healthy snack that matches that day’s lesson
We limit classes to 2 children at minimum and 4 maximum. Children are more likely to open up and engage in a smaller group.
